Overview
Easy to use
Response Point lets you access phones, contacts, and features using only your
voice—all with the push of a blue button. Thanks to Microsoft’s award-winning
speech recognition technology, you simply tell your phone what to do.
Easy to manage
Management of standard phone systems requires extensive training and networking
expertise. Response Point empowers you to complete phone moves, additions, or
changes with just a few quick mouse clicks. Microsoft’s familiar and intuitive
visual interface guides you through the simple installation process, step by
step. And integration with Microsoft Office Outlook means you can use the
Response Point Assistant to voice dial your Outlook contacts, enhancing the way
you already communicate.
Easy to grow
Response Point empowers you to expand your phone system as your business grows.
Average PC users can add new phones in minutes. And by leveraging the benefits
of Voice-over Internet Protocol (VoIP), Response Point makes it incredibly easy
and cost effective to add new phone lines—without the wiring hassles of a
traditional phone system.
Response Point puts powerful technology—previously too expensive and complicated
to install and manage—right into your hands. Delivered on industry-leading
hardware from D-Link, Quanta, and Aastra, Response Point is a complete,
affordable phone system that grows with your small business.

Software
Save money and scale your system easily with VoIP service.
Of the many updated features included in Response Point Service Pack 1
(SP1), Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) trunking is the biggest
enhancement. SIP trunking makes it easy to activate Voice-over Internet
Protocol (VoIP) phone service, connecting your company’s phone system to
the standard public telephone system (PSTN) via your broadband
connection. By placing calls over the Internet, you can improve business
communications and cut costs.
- Response Point SP1 supports both VoIP and analog telephone
lines, giving you the ability to use the phone service that suits
your business’s changing needs.
- As your business grows, VoIP allows you to scale your phone
system more quickly and cost-effectively than with traditional phone
lines. The simple VoIP setup wizard in Response Point’s
Administrator enables you to add new VoIP lines in minutes—without
expensive support. (1)
- VoIP lets remote or traveling employees maintain local phone
numbers, reducing long-distance and 800-number costs and allowing
you to enhance local visibility through listings in the chamber of
commerce and local yellow pages.
- With lower long-distance rates and less reliance on outside
support, your cost savings can really add up. Small businesses with
10 to 19 employees can save an average of $8,000 in the first year
alone by purchasing an IP-based phone system such as Response Point
(source: AMI-Partners).
